Oh well, that's what this weekend is for, letting us find all the broken / expliotable skill combos for Anet to fix in the next 3 months...

Yeah but how hard does SS pwn an assassin? Pretty hard. Let 'em swing away with those double attacks cover with PB...

Worst yet I've seen is thus:
2x A/D shard exploiters (thanks a.net, 48 hours of worthless rat turd)
1x Prot/heal (standard)
1x Water Ele (slow skills galore = sharders keep you locked and GG).
I highly suggest you just don't even go near RA & TA right now.
Play HoH or something where you have a chance to play some more honest games.

Well i did gave up on RA/TA. Lag is horrible, but yeah, whenever i see Dervish i dont even attack him. If i do, his health just keeps being at maximum.. it's.. useless. Im not talking about premades ofc, i played a bit premade and i can get killed, normally. But some skill combos like sand shards are.. way out of the line.

i would actually say that this concept might be GOOD for pvp... if you are facing a team of wars assn or rang... with a little work, im sure this build could easily be one of the next great anti-tanker builds.

Im not sure u need horns.. its a very hot build in HA, we literally played at least vs 8 such groups in a 2 hours run... its not fun seeing 5 ppl dying simultaneously within 6 secs (and they werent bunched up, mind you that).
ah yes, we were healing...
I have the feeling Id be playing pve these 2 days
AND good work on the update.. now fix the other weird stuff, get rid of the lag and Ill like u again )

And all the `pwners' in RA/TA are going to be crying their little eyes out now that they're super exploit build is now nerfed so hard that they're going to have to resort to using skills, rather than clicking.
In the most depressed and sarcastic tone, like Dopey's voice, "Oh the horror."

Cept if you knew about sins if an attack misses because you do not meet the appropriate preliminary attack, it recharges instantly, thus creating sandway using exausting assault.
And as far as monking against them.. Shielding hands makes them laughable. Imagine if you decided to bring balt spirit too. Good battery.

Sands Chards definition
I am confused on the exactly how sand shards work.
1. If I was an assassin and activated sand shards along with my normal dagger attacks, does that mean that I can count each dagger damage with extra damage from sand shards because each dagger attack also meant a failed scythe attack?
2. Or does sand shards mean in failed scythe attacks that I have to use a scythe skill and scythe weapon?
3. Can someone explain the build that was posted here with the assassin and dervish skills?

Is it worth it?
So can the sand shards be used in any more cool combos anymore?

It only works with scythe attacks only.

Nope, in order for sand shards to work, the skill you are using must specifically say 'Scythe Attack', you can't even attempt to activate these skills unless you are wielding a scythe. Back during the preview event it just said attack skills, as such, people just spammed cheap dual-attack dagger skills, without using a lead or offhand before them, the attack missed both times due to not meeting the require pre-req and sand shards triggered twice.

Exactly

The build is from the preview event roughly 6 months ago, and changes were made to the game that completely invalidated it, there is no point in explaining it more than I have already done in this message as the build does not work in any way, shape or form now.
